Cookies and storage currently active
- __Host-authjs.csrf-token: an Auth.js security cookie retained for the browser session and strictly necessary to protect the authentication mechanism against fraudulent requests.
- __Secure-authjs.callback-url: an Auth.js return cookie retained for the browser session and strictly necessary to return to the requested page after authentication.
- When a signed-in session is created, Auth.js also uses __Secure-authjs.session-token, a secure cookie with rolling validity of up to seven days after the latest session refresh.
- NEXT_LOCALE: a session cookie that may be created when the language is changed manually to remember the FR or EN preference.
- meit-consent: a strictly necessary preference cookie storing your consent choice for audience measurement (accepted or refused), kept for six months; it does not itself require consent.
- _ga and _ga_7KCM984Q9P: Google Analytics 4 cookies set only after you accept, to distinguish visitors and measure audience in aggregate; their default lifetime is two years. They are deleted if you withdraw your consent.
- Browser local storage: theme, sidebar state, and the latest comparison tab or view. These preferences remain on the device until cleared.
- For a signed-in account, local storage may also contain the codes, names and timestamps of recently viewed indicators, including a history limited to twenty entries. This data remains on the device until cleared.
Consent and Consent Mode v2
On the first visit, a consent banner offers “Accept” or “Refuse” audience measurement, with two equally weighted buttons. Until you accept, Google’s Consent Mode v2 stays set to “denied” for analytics_storage and no measurement cookie or script is loaded.
On a click on “Accept”, analytics_storage becomes “granted” and the Google Analytics 4 script is loaded. On a click on “Refuse”, nothing is loaded. A later withdrawal of consent stops collection and deletes the Google Analytics cookies.
Google Analytics 4
After consent, Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, measures the site’s audience in aggregate. It sets the _ga and _ga_7KCM984Q9P cookies and sends Google measurement data together with the IP address and technical information about the browser.
Google may process this data and transfer it outside Morocco and the European Union, notably to the United States. The legal basis is your consent; withdrawing it stops collection and deletes these cookies. The privacy policy details this processing.
Managing or withdrawing your consent
- Use the “Cookies” button in the footer to reopen the banner and change or withdraw your choice at any time.
- Use your browser settings to block, delete or limit cookies.
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to prevent GA4 measurement on sites that use it.
